 February 7th 2012:  11 hardy souls braved the ice and cold to meet in the village hall on Tuesday morning and chat with their friends. The raffle winners were Eric Simcox, Margaret Simcox, Cynthia Cooksley, Margaret Dawson and Margaret Green.  John Gray thanked Jean Earl and Margaret Simcox for organising the event and reminded everyone that the 100 Club numbers needed to be paid for to Sue Gray before the next coffee morning on Tuesday, March 6 as this would be the first draw of 2012.

May 3rd 2011:  Tuesday saw the Village Hall celebrate the 5th anniversary of Coffee Mornings with a free event for the 16 people who attended. The tables were decorated with pink and purple spring tulips and each person received a personalised card thanking them for their continued support of the events. Next came a cake in the shape of a '5', which Jean Earl cut and distributed to everyone. The raffle was won by Julie Jameson, Margaret Green, Susan Gray, Linda Cooper and Margaret Simcox. Thanks to Linda Cooper, Jean Earl, Sue Gray and Margaret Simcox for organising the event, also Linda for the cake and Margaret for the cards. Here's to the next 5 years.
